- Summary
- A nonnarrated story about a little boy who discovers a mysterious kite-maker on a hillside in the Southwest. The boy makes a plain but charming kite which he takes home but which he forsakes the next day for a glittering rocket kite which cannot fly. When he turns back to the plain kite, it is torn and ripped from having vainly followed him.
