- Summary
- Letta and her two sons live in the Cumberland Mountains of Tennessee. This documentary portrait, made by teenagers from New York's Educational Video Center, records the Appalchian woman's struggle to raise her children without running water or electricity and with the little food she and her boys grow in a small garden. The boys help their mother by collecting tin cans which they bring to a recycling center for extra money.
