Summary
In this animated musical, the Primm family meets Lyle the Crocodile when they move into a new home in New York City and find him reclining in their bathtub. After their initial fright, Mr. and Mrs. Primm and their son Joshua come to love the amphibian for his good nature and entertaining tricks. Seeing Lyle's picture in the newspaper, his owner Hector P. Valenti returns to reclaim the crocodile so they can resume their life on the road as entertainers. The tour is a failure because Lyle misses his friend Joshua so much that he makes his audiences cry instead of laugh. Mr. Valenti returns Lyle to the Primm family and everyone is happy.
