- In 1782, the U.S. adopted the eagle as the national emblem. Today, the eagle is an endangered species with only one great stronghold in the country. Photographed in Southeast Alaska and culminating in the spectacular winter gathering of eagles in the Chilkat Valley, this film explores the habitat and life cycle of the Bald Eagle.
