Summary

A profile of a complex senior man of the semi-nomadic Turkana of northwestern Kenya. Having seen something of the outside world, Lorang realizes the vulnerability of his traditional society. The film explores Lorang's personality and ideas through conversations with the filmmakers and the testimony of his wives, relatives, children and other Turkana men of his age and status.
