- Summary
- Peter Riley has hired Melanie as helper in his latest enterprise, a car wash. The business is succeeding when a street gang, the Pirates, demands protection money. Unable to get help to resist the bullies, Peter admits defeat. Melanie, however, enlists the aid of her brother, Martin, who had been considering becoming a gang member. Together, the brother and sister rally the neighborhood to dispatch the unruly band.
