Summary
"Punked out" eldest sibling Ramona breaks up with her boyfriend and arrives unexpectedly at the home of her mother and two younger brothers, having temporarily run out of options. Unbeknownst to Mona, the boxes containing her belongings are also home to legions of roaches. The bugs quickly invade every nook and cranny of the house adding extra turmoil to the already tense household. Amidst the cockroaches' proliferation, Ramona conflicts with her mother whom she considers a hopeless doormat for her friends' physical and emotional problems. In the end, Ramona's mother, deciding that a lifestyle change is in order, packs the family up in the car and leaves the house.
