- Summary
- Ramona is thrilled to trade in her ill-fitting rabbit pajamas for a new pair but decides to keep her twitching "rabbit" nose. Imitating the firefighters she visited on a recent field trip, Ramona puts on her clothes over her pajamas and endures a very "sweaty" day at school. When Mrs. Whaley expresses concern, Ramona confesses that she is still wearing her p.j.'s and begs the teacher not to tell her mother. Later that day, Mrs. Whaley does call Ramona's mother and the little girl, distraught that her teacher has broken her promise, reveals what she did and determines to run away from home. Ramona is relieved when Mom informs her that Mrs. Whaley was merely worried about her twitching nose.
