- Summary
- Ruiz's "parody of anthropology, linguistics and cultural imperialism" centers on a male anthropologist, a woman and a child who visit the estate of a millionaire Marxist in Patagonia. Sexual rivalry competes with sociological investigation. Before leaving, the anthropologist deciphers the language of the last two surviving Indians of a local tribe who live on the estate.
