- Explores the sport of long distance running by focusing on five of the world's leading long distance runners. Arthur Lydiard, recognized as the father of the jogging movement, is seen on training runs with Heather Thomson, New Zealand's 3,000 meter champion. John Walker, a great middle-distance runner, is shown demonstrating his technique. Ultra-distance runner Max Telford and Jack Foster, world record holder in the Masters (over 40) division, are also featured.
