- Summary
- This lighthearted documentary pays tribute to the Sons of the Desert, a group of "insane people who love the films of Laurel and Hardy." The camera follows film buffs from around the world as they gather at the club's convention in Philadelphia. Members participate in contests, parades and pie-throwing sessions, view the comics' films and purchase Laurel and Hardy memorabilia. President John McCabe discusses the founding of the club and its aims. Actors and technicians reminisce about working with the comic duo.
