Summary

LeVar Burton investigates the mystery surrounding the life and death of dinosaurs. Inspired by the book, Digging up dinosaurs, by Aliki, which describes the means by which dinosaur bones are uncovered and reassembled, LeVar goes on a fossil hunt of his own. With his trusted, "Jeeposaurus Wreck," he takes the viewer to Dinosaur National Park where expert Linda West digs up some dinosaur secrets. The program is punctuated by dinosaur jokes from the book, Tyrannosaurus wrecks, a book of dinosaur riddles by Noelle Sterne.
