Summary
Examines the pervasive problem of domestic violence through the cases of four women imprisoned for killing their batterers. Film cuts between interviews with each of the women and speeches by Sarah Buel, Assistant District Attorney Suffolk County, and Meekah Scott, a woman sentenced to 8-12 years for killing her batterer. Winner of the 1994 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject.
