- Five-year-old Christopher is convinced that there is a nightmare in his closet. At bedtime, the boy takes every precaution. He dons a football helmet, packs a plastic death-ray gun, and keeps his eyes riveted on his closet door. Christopher confronts his "nightmare" and calms his fears, bolstered by a supply of chocolate chip cookies.
