- Summary
- William S. Burroughs and Brion Gysin met Ian Sommerville and Antony Balch during their Beat Hotel days in Paris in 1958-59, when Burroughs' Naked lunch was published. These films convey the consciousness of that period in the visual language of four of the artists that define it. Balch attempts to reinterpret Burroughs' writing as cinema.
