- Summary
- Set in the Scottish Highlands of 1860, this is the story of Wee Gillis, a lad who cannot decide whether he wants to herd long-haired cows or stalk stags. Calling loudly for the cows and holding his breath so that he does not scare the deer have made Gillis' lungs very strong. When a bagpiper arrives who cannot blow up his bag, Gillis demonstrates his true vocational talent.
