Summary
Set in Romania during the last days of the Communist dictatorship, the beautiful, recklessly defiant Nela, after the death of her father, runs off to the country, where she and a brilliant, rudely irreverent doctor conduct a makeshift love affair while trying to survive in a disentegrating society.
