- Summary
- In 1947, a nation-wide survey revealed that 82% of Americans had their radios on some part of the day, and a majority remained faithful to a few top performers: Jack Benny, Bob Hope, Fred Allen, Edgar Bergen, Fibber Magee and Molly, and newscaster Walter Winchell. This episode of that survey from March of Time newsreels examines the listening habits of America and looks at the history and future of radio.
