Summary
Cut-out animation is used to tell a magical tale of one moonlit night when a little girl named Flora espies a wondrous carousel pony prancing beneath her window. The horse spirits her back in time to an enchanted forest where Flora witnesses the machinations of an evil wizard. When the sorcerer tries to entice a princess with a magical pear, the horse intercedes and falls under a 1000-year curse. He is turned to stone, captured by Turks and finally imprisoned in the carousel. By eating the pear she has hidden in her pocket, Flora breaks the spell and destroys the malevolent wizard. Her equine friend breaks free and returns Flora to the tree where their adventure together began.
