- Set in the Limehouse district of London, Griffith's film is the story of a Chinese man's chaste love for a young girl persecuted by her brutal father. Griffith made this raw melodrama a violent yet tender tragedy. This color print was taken from the original tinted nitrate footage. (Circulates)
