- Summary
- The husband (Jeffrey Tambor) is late for work, his wife (Karen Wheeden) is expected to serve him breakfast. He's totally insensitive to her existence, and amuses himself with the morning crossword puzzle. She fantasizes and envisions herself as an old woman, Marlene Dietrich, a baseball player, a beauty in a bubble bath, and a lusty, busty Valkyrie-- but hubby never takes notice. He's peeved that she absentmindedly drops his toast on the floor more than once, but in the end it's time to kiss and make up. The set is two dimensional and painted in shades of gray; the ragtime piano score is by Michael Riesman.
