- Summary
- Catherine Peters' parents have been separated for some time. It is not an amicable situation and Catherine often feels caught in the middle. When she is chosen to represent her school on the gymnastics team, both parents want to come and see her perform. Envisioning an embarassing scene before the whole school, Catherine resorts to a series of lies to discourage their attendance.
