- Description
- 1 videocassette (56 min.) : sd., col.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- The tropical dry forests of Central America have shrunk to less than 2% of their former size. Originally home to thousands of species of plants and animals, these forests have been converted to farms and ranches. Dan Janzen educates the local people concerning the forest's treasures, recruits Costa Ricans as game wardens and park managers, teaches biology and makes appeals for the environment before the United Nations. This film presents a glimpse of Costa Rica's exotic wildlife and offers information concerning the area's complex inter-species relationships.
