Summary
A film essay about Kénojuak, an Eskimo graphic artist who as a wife and mother makes her drawings when she is free from her duties on the trail or in camp. Discusses the sources of her inspiration, and describes the way in which her stone prints are reproduced on fine rice paper at the cooperative Art Center of Cape Dorset. Eventually, her work is sold in the galleries of the south.
