- Drawing upon Afro-American folklore, this film tells the frightening and suspenseful tale of Hannah, an East Texas woman and her son who is spirited away by the malevolent Fiddlin' Man. Hannah's odyssey to find and reclaim her son from the devil's snare culminates in a mysterious rescue by her dead husband who appears in the form of a dog.
