Summary
Explores the hopes, dreams, and fears of the members of a Chicano gang in East Los Angeles. Reveals the forces that shape their lives--police harassment, an unresponsive educational system and the lack of employment opportunities. The film includes sequences on different aspects of gang life: gang warfare, the meaning of graffiti, mural-painting, a homemade tattoo parlor, and the wedding of a homeboy.
