- Summary
- The tragic story of Frankie Lymon whose group Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers was one of the first Black rock-and-roll groups to cross the color barrier. Producing many hit records in 1956/57, Lymon was exploited by record producers and managers. At 26, unable to find work as a singer, Frankie Lymon died of a drug overdose in New York City.
