- Uses rare photographs and historic film footage accompanied by ragtime music to document the historic fight between Jack Johnson and Jim Jeffries ("the great white hope"). In this bout, Johnson became the first Black heavyweight champion in the world. Examines the racist campaign which preceded the fight.
