- Summary
- Jack Levine is an artist of the social realist school whose work satirizes corrupt politicians, police, social injustice and the human condition. In this portrait, the outspoken painter acts as guide to his work while the camera visits his old Boston neighborhood, and his New York home and studio. Glimpses of his method and technique are provided by an in-progress painting of his daughter.
