- Summary
- Comedy tinged with pathos characterizes this 3-D computer-animated short about a snowman imprisoned in a snow globe and his desire for social interaction. The snowman forlornly watches a group of souvenirs, hailing from sunny locales, enjoy a party on the bookshelf and desperately tries to escape his Nome, Alaska "home sweet home" by employing a drill, acetylene torch and dynamite. The globe falls off the bookshelf, the snowman escapes through the emergency exit and falls into a fishbowl where he espies a beckoning mermaid, but fate conspires against him.
