- Summary
- A class on careers motivates the children of the DeGrassi Street School to think about the future. In most cases, their ambitions are vague. Lisa has no special goal except wanting Griff to like her. She becomes so preoccupied with her new interests that a serious rift occurs between herself and Casey, threatening to destroy their friendship. Lisa's stepmother attempts to repair the girls' differences by showing Lisa an inscription in her own yearbook, "Make new friends but keep the old; one is silver, the other gold."
