- Summary
- Questioning whether or not group homes are positive alternatives to home environments, EVC's crew talks to young residents who left troubled or abusive homes. The teenagers candidly discuss the conditions that forced them to leave, and the varied situations they find in their group residences. The teens acts as guides to various facilities including the Jewish Child Care Association, Youth Action Homes Away from Home and Turning Point, a transitional living program in Brooklyn. The EVC group is invited to sit in on a weekly house meeting where complaints are aired and addressed.
