- 1 videocassette (30 min.) : sd. col.; 1/2 in.
- Summary
- Tapes, audio performances and broadcasts explore two-way telecasting and live satellite performance. Davis performs with Joseph Beuys and Nam June Paik in "The Last Nine Minutes" (1977), the first live global satellite telecast produced by artists. "How To Make Love To Your Television Set" (1979), originally premiered on QUBE, the two-way CATV system established in Columbus, Ohio, and asks the viewer to join Davis in a "unique consummation." There are excerpts from "Seven Thoughts" (1976) in which Davis, in the empty Houston Astrodome, speaks seven private thoughts, through the satellite, to listeners all over the world. "The Shadow Shadow" (1980) is also included. Introduced by John Hanhardt, Curator of Film and Video at the Whitney Museum of American Art.
