- Description
- 1 film reel (12 min.) : sd., col.; 16 mm.
- Summary
- The black rhinoceros has inhabited the earth for sixty million years, yet this creature could become extinct by the year 2000. Contrary to popular belief, this imposing animal is, for the most part, solitary and peaceful, hence an easy target for hunters and poachers greedy for the prized rhino horn. This film was shot in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania and presents, without narration, the rhinoceros in its natural habitat.
