- Summary
- In this story of magic employing cut-out animation, a lonely shepherd is astonished to see a swan transformed into a beautiful maiden. Filled with love, he throws her an olive branch but she changes into a swan and flies away. The shepherd finally discovers her imprisoned in a castle where an evil witch has turned all the inhabitants into animals. He can break the spell only by recognizing his love among the swans, and he does because she has the olive branch.
