- Summary
- 8-year-old Willie Sheridan dreams of tap dancing on Broadway. Willie is encouraged and tutored by his Uncle Dipsey but opposed by his father. His 12-year-old sister Emma is the only one willing to aid him. Desiring to be a lawyer like her father, Emma, the president of a neighborhood "Children's Rights Crusade," takes on Willie as the perfect test case.
