- Description
- 1 film reel (15 min.) : si. b&w.; 16 mm.
- Summary
- A drunken servant and her accomplice rob a safe belonging to two orphaned girls. The victims are held at gunpoint while their brother races to the rescue. Editing is intense in this Biograph film. Some eighty shots speed between Lillian Gish's first awareness of danger and her final rescue. However, before the action begins, Griffith and cameraman, Billy Bitzer create an arresting high-angle shot of Robert Harron and Dorothy, as the young lovers, in a field of corn.
