- Summary
- This tale of vampires is elliptical in style, hauntingly sinister in atmosphere and employs spare use of dialogue. Dreyer's first sound film was shot entirely on location near Paris and centers on David Gray, a young traveler, who witnesses the effects of vampires on the lord of a remote castle and his two daughters.
