- Summary
- Documents the changes that have been made since liberation and presents the many challenges facing the Vietnamese people. Shot by the first American journalists allowed entry since the war's end, the crew travelled, without restrictions, to different locations in the country. Thirty years of war have taken their effect and left indelible marks. Rebuilding, increased agricultural production, and educational campaigns are some of the programs that have been initiated to improve life in this war torn, but now unified, nation.
