- Summary
- Documentary reveals the resurgence in popularity of poetry in performance, dubbed "the spoken word". This documentary, hosted by dub poet Clifton Joseph, examines the roots of the phenomenon and demonstrates its rebirth. The film also includes performances and interviews with many of the most popular spoken word artists of today as well as such legendary Beat Generation predecessors as Allen Ginsberg.
