Summary
Motion pictures combined with the rise of Nazi Germany generated the century's first large-scale propaganda battle in history. In this program, Moyers interviews two of the chief participants in the conflict: German filmmaker, Fritz Hippler, film department chief in Joseph Goebbels' Propaganda Ministry and American director, Frank Capra, creator of the Why we fight series.
