- Summary
- A portrait of Pierre Quinn, a French-Canadian boy who gave up hockey and left family and friends to live and train at the National Ballet School in Toronto. The rigors of ballet training are presented as well as the students' disciplined attitude toward academic study. Pierre discusses his feelings about dance, the activities he must forego in order to pursue his interest and the personalities of Nureyev and Baryshnikov who are seen briefly.
