Summary
Maya Angelou, author-playwright-singer-dancer-actress-reporter-songwriter, develops and demonstrates how black heritage has been preserved and assimilated into society. The programs explore the culture of black people with respect to distinctive facets of language, dress, cooking, family relationships, and recreation.
