- The O'Neill family papers consist chiefly of letters from Charles O'Neill to his wife Carrie in Connecticut while serving in the 12th Connecticut Infantry during the American Civil War, 1861-1864, with a few letters from Perkins Bartholomew, 14th Connecticut Infantry, to his mother and sister Carrie O'Neill, 1864.
