- The drowned body of Harriet Shelley was discovered in the Serpentine in Hyde Park in December of 1816.Pforzheimer copy: "Acept this from / and Old friend / wih the compli / -ments of the / Seson / A happey nue / year / Nue years day / 1815" (in ink on front fly leaf verso). With a few penciled annotations in a different hand throughout. -- Bound in contemporary flap-wallet style limp calf with pockets at both ends. -- Within white envelope.
