- Tom Wolfe, a best-selling American novelist, journalist, and one of the founders of the New Journalism movement of the 1960s and 1970s, speaks about the creatign of a new journalistic style; and how he uses fiction techniques and style in non-fiction works, for example using journalistic techniques in the novel, short story or any other fiction work. He also speaks about experimental literature in the United States; art, architecture and the critic; post-modernism in American literature; the effect of the metropolis on contemporary culture; and the neo-conservative movement. He discusses different aspects of life in New York City; about racism, ambition and venality in New York City.
