- Summary
- Nicholas Pileggi, an author and screenwriter, speaks about the beginning of his career as a crime reporter for the Associated Press New York bureau and New York magazine in 1950s, that inspired him in the future to write books about the Mafia, such as Casino and Wiseguy: life in a Mafia family. He talks about organized crime describing the heists, drug deals, scams, and daily life of a mobster. At the end of the lecture he answers the questions from the audience.
