- Kathleen Isabel Powers Pflueger of New York City conducted genealogical research on her family in support of her applications to various societies and orders including the Society of Daughters of Holland Dames. Her ancestors include Abraham Isaacse Verplanck-Planck who was born in Holland before 1610 and died in New York in 1691 and Thomas Brownell who was born in England in 1619 and died in Portsmouth, RI in 1665.
