• "In July, 2000, Robert Creeley wrote the poem 'Pictures' for this collaboration with Jim Dine. Jim Dine drew eleven images on lithographic stones at Tamarind Institute ... in October, 2000. A twelfth, unbound image was drawn on stone in Dine's Los Angeles studio in January, 2001. The lithographs were printed by Tamarind master printer Bill Lagattuta, with the assistance of Erika Adams, Sarah Dudley, and Ernestine White. The text was hand set in Spectrum and printed letterpress by Ruth Lingen in New York, New York. The binding and slipcases are by Mark Tomlinson in Easthampton, Massachusetts. The book is printed on Zerkall paper and the unbound print on Rives BFK"--Colophon.
