  • "The book is illustrated with 12 original etchings by Jim Dine ... The etchings have been printed on the publisher's hand presses and the plates cancelled after printing"--Colophon.
  • "The papier d'Auvergne, on which the edition is printed, has been specially manufactured by the Moulin Richard-de-bas. The text has been hand-set in 12-point Montaigne and printed by Fequet-Baudier. The box enclosing each copy is by Bernard Duval, bookbinder"--Colophon.
